Petrochemicals sector gains lift Saudi Arabia's index
Gains in the petrochemical sector lifted Saudi's index to a higher close on Saturday, after oil prices rose on Friday.
The all-share index added 0.7 percent to 6,731 points, supported by gains in the petrochemical sector which saw a 1.4 percent rise to 6,888 points.
The petrochemical giant Saudi Basic Industries (SABIC) climbed almost 1 percent by the end of trading on Saturday.
The banking index dropped 0.13 percent.
